Not one but two national award nominations for iVolt.

iVolt’s ground-breaking voltage optimisation system has been nominated for not one, but two ENDS Green Economy Awards.

EGEA_finalist The company has already won a number of industry gongs for its higher than average savings and added ability to track clients’ energy consumption.

Now its work across the public and private sectors has led to nominations for a Green Data award – for “an outstanding example of green information technology that has brought about a step-change in sustainability or business performance” – and a Buildings Energy Efficiency Improvement award – for “a market leading advisory or technology product offering with excellent potential to boost customer and national energy efficiency”. The latter is being supported by the Government’s Department for Energy and Climate Change.

iVolt’s founder, Manhal Allos, said: “The fact we have been shortlisted for these awards despite being up against some great competition is testament to the hard work of the team. Although iVolt is part of a company with a long and established history, it’s a relative newcomer to the voltage optimisation market but the way the system works to track and prove energy savings from the moment it is switched on, has put us years ahead of the competition. We have ambitious plans for iVolt and the potential savings the technology could bring to the UK economy are huge: I hope these awards will help us to spread that message.”

The Green Economy Awards are organised by Haymarket and were formerly known as the Green Business Awards.
