CPD Seminar at Hilton – Jan 2012

iVolt held their first bi-annual seminar in January 2012 on Voltage Optimisation. The seminar was a great success, informing attendees about the technology behind the product and how voltage optimisation has evolved. The day included live hands on product demonstrations, a chance to engage with the experts, all candidates achieved a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) qualification in voltage optimisation. There was also a focus on carbon footprint and how iVolt can help cut your Company’s energy costs and reduce your carbon footprint.

The seminar which took place at the Hilton Hotel Heathrow T5, received high attendance from procurement directors and finance directors from leading UK corporates, through to the smaller individual organisations, including retail and leisure.

Voltage reduction or optimisation as it’s also called was developed by the Japanese in 1993. The evolution in the UK started about a decade ago with fixed reduction transformers. Fast forward to 2011 and voltage optimisation is a key solution in energy saving and carbon footprint reduction. Its most recent stage of evolution comes with the introduction of Intelligent Power Optimisation as the logical progression to this key energy saving solution.
