iVolt achieves projected savings faster than the expected time scale and continues to provide savings for Booker retail across the UK

iVolt is designed to continuously monitor and adjust the voltage supplied to the store’s electrical equipment and appliances, ensuring they were operating at optimal levels. An extensive site survey was conducted of every site to ascertain the electrical load and voltage profile, so each store received an iVolt sized according to their precise needs. iVolt’s IRT allows remote monitoring and performance tracking of the systems to verify the energy savings – all live and online via a secure portal.

iVolt rolled out the VO project in phases over several years, and the results have been significant. To date, the company has seen an average of 6.64% reduction in energy consumption, resulting in savings of over 45M kWh and sizeable financial savings. Additionally, the reduction in energy consumption has resulted in a nearly 250,000 metric tons reduction in CO2 emissions aligning with the company’s sustainability goals
