iVolt doing its bit for flood victims in the Slough community

The UK is currently experiencing some of the worst storms and flooding for more than 250 years.

More than 500 properties across the South East have been flooded so far with more flooding expected as the Thames River rises due to recent rainfall. Hundreds of residents have spent hours without power, many roads remain closed and train services are disrupted as flooding continues. iVolt, based in Slough – Berkshire has also seen the adverse effects of the flood to its local community. Part of the Sollatek group, iVolt is a manufacturer of voltage optimisation equipment and solar technologies, iVolt donated Sollatek solar lanterns to the local council to help flood victims that are suffering from power cuts. Byron Maps (an iVolt employee) who has been volunteering to help the community, is seen here in the photo handing over the lanterns to the local council’s emergency planner.
